Shepherd'S Or Cottage Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground meat
1 onion, chopped
1 c. mushrooms, sliced
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables (peas and carrots, etc.)
1 tsp. Italian seasonings
1/4 c. parsley, minced
2 - 3 c. chicken broth
2 Tbsp. flour
3 Tbsp. butter
salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation

For pie, gently saute ground meat in heavy skillet, breaking into small pieces.
Cook until lightly browned.
Drain.
Add onion and saute until soft, but not browned.
Add mushrooms and saute until heated through.
Add mixed vegetables, Italian seasoning, parsley and sugar.
Stir gently.
Add broth.
Simmer until vegetables are done.
In small bowl, blend flour and butter. Gradually add to ground meat mixture, stirring gently.
Cook until slightly thickened.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to baking dish.
