Wild Rice Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. raw wild rice
3 c. water
1 small can water chestnuts, chopped
1 c. cooked cubed chicken
1 1/2 c. green grapes
1 c. mayonnaise
1 (2 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds
dash of lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
dash of Beau Monde seasoning
Preparation

Rinse rice well in warm water.
Cook in water for 45 to 60 minutes.
Rice should be opened up, soft and fluffy.
Drain.
Set aside to cool.
Mix remaining ingredients in order given.
Add cooled rice.
Chill.
Makes 12 (1/2 cup) servings.
