Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. melted margarine
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes, partially thawed
Preparation
    Combine soup, margarine, onion, cheese, salt and pepper in bowl; mix well.
    Break up potatoes with fork.
    Add to soup mixture; mix gently.
    Spoon into 12 x 12-inch baking dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Yields 8 servings.
