Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, shredded in large bowl
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    1 c. bell pepper (1 pepper chopped finely)
    1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
    1 can LeSueur peas, drained
    1 1/2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise, spread over
    2 tsp. sugar, sprinkled over
    1 c. Parmesan cheese, spread over
    6 to 8 slices diced bacon, sprinkled on top
Preparation
    Cover and let set 24 hours in refrigerator.
