Almond Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. salt
    3 qt. boiling water
    1 tsp. vegetable oil
    8 oz. egg noodles
    1/4 c. slivered almonds
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Add salt to boiling water, add vegetable oil.
    Add noodles and boil on low heat, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender (about 7 minutes).
    Saute almonds in butter in small skillet until lightly browned.
    Drain noodles and toss with sauteed almonds and leftover butter from pan.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
