Nadine'S Chocolate Chiffon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 stick melted margarine
3 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
peanut brittle
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 stick margarine
1 pkg. plain gelatin, dissolved in 2 Tbsp. water
2 c. hot milk
1 carton whipping cream or Cool Whip
Preparation

Mix 1/2 cup sugar, flour, salt and cocoa; beat in egg yolks. Gradually stir in hot milk.
Cook in double boiler until slightly thickened.
Add the dissolved gelatin to hot custard.
Add vanilla and margarine.
Cool.
Beat the egg whites until in peaks, adding the remaining sugar.
Fold into the cooled custard.
Pour into pie crust and chill several hours.
