Pickled Turnips(Lifit) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh turnips, cleaned & trimmed
    2 c. white vinegar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Quarter or half turnips, depending on size. Put in a quart jar and add salt.
    Mix the water and vinegar and pour solution over the turnips to cover.
    Seal loosely and let sit for a week until serving.
