Microwave Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine (1 stick)
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2/3 to 1 c. unpopped popcorn
Preparation
    Pop corn.
    Place in big brown paper bag.
    In large glass microwavable bowl, place all ingredients, except baking soda, which goes in after coating is cooked.
    Place in microwave for 5 minutes.
    Stir after 2 1/2 minutes, then finish cooking.
    After 5 minutes is up, stir in 1 teaspoon baking soda immediately.
    Stir quickly, it may foam up, this is okay.
    When completely stirred in, pour over popped corn and stir in.
    Place brown bag in microwave for 1 minute.
    Stir and then cool.
