3 1/2 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. soft margarine
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. quick oats
1 c. flaked coconut
chocolate or butterscotch chips (optional)
Preparation

Sift together flour, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar; set aside.
Mix together white and brown sugars, margarine, oil, egg, vanilla, Rice Krispies, coconut and oats.
Blend in flour mixture.
Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Let cool on pan a few minutes before removing.
