Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. spareribs
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 large yellow onion
    2 green peppers, chopped
    3 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped fine
    4 stalks celery
    6 green onions, chopped
    1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
    3 1/2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 lb. Polish sausage
    1 c. diced ham
    3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    2 tsp. Tabasco
    1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
    3 tsp. whole thyme leaves
    2 c. uncooked rice
Preparation
    Place spareribs on broiling rack and bake at 400\u00b0 until brown; set aside.
