Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
4 to 5 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1 Tbsp. oleo
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks, lightly beaten
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour, cocoa and salt.
Stir in milk, mixing until smooth.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened (about 10 minutes).
Add a small amount of hot mixture to egg yolks and mix well.
Add yolk mixture to remaining hot mixture, mixing well.
Cook 2 minutes longer, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add oleo and vanilla. Mix well.
Pour into baked pastry shell and top with meringue.
