Easy Pecan Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks margarine, softened
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    4 c. sifted self-rising flour
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. butter flavoring
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugars.
    Add 1 cup flour and 1 well beaten egg.
    Add 2 cups flour, 1 more well beaten egg and then 1 more cup flour.
    Mix well and stir in pecans.
    Divide dough into 3 parts.
    Roll in logs and wrap in wax paper.
    Allow to cool in refrigerator for 2 hours.
    Slice and place on a cookie sheet. Bake at 300\u00b0 until cookies are light brown.
