Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising meal
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. Wesson oil or 1 stick butter
    1 egg
    1 to 2 pods green pepper, cut into pieces
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 small can creamed or kernel corn
    1 c. cheese, grated
Preparation
    Mix ingredients (except cheese).
    Pour half of mixture into hot greased skillet.
    Grate 1 cup cheese over this and add rest of mixture.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 until lightly browned.
