One-Egg Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. Cream until light and fluffy the butter, sugar, vanilla and egg. Stir in half flour mixture, then half of milk; mix well, then add rest of flour mixture and milk.
    Pour into 9 x 9-inch square pan, greased and floured.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for about 25 minutes or test with toothpick near center to see if done.
    Frost with Sour Cream Raisin Frosting.
