Pork Chop Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lean pork chops
    4 Pippin apples
    2 large potatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown pork chops in a small amount of oil.
    Place in casserole.
    Add 1/2 cup water to drippings and pour over meat. Bake covered for 1/2 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Add whole cored apples and sliced potatoes.
    Continue to bake, covered, for 1 hour or until potatoes and apples are done.
    Thicken liquid with cornstarch and serve with pork chops.
