Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    2 large boxes vanilla instant pudding mix
    1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 can cherry pie filling
    2 (12 oz.) boxes Cool Whip
    1 pkg. Baker's coconut
    1 pkg. (about 1 c.) chopped pecans
Preparation
    Bake cake as directed on box. Cool cake completely.
    Mix pudding mix as directed.
    Crumble 1/2 of cake in a punch bowl. Layer 1/2 of the pudding, pineapple, cherry pie filling, Cool Whip and coconut.
    Then add all of the chopped pecans.
    Then start over with the remaining half of the ingredients.
    Keep covered in refrigerator until ready to serve.
