24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 pkg. frozen peas
    2 Tbsp. sugar in 2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
    4 oz. Cheddar cheese
    8 strips bacon, crisp and crumbled
Preparation
    Layer lettuce, green pepper, celery, onion and peas in a large bowl.
    Spread mayonnaise and sugar on top. Sprinkle cheese, then bacon on top.
    Cover tightly for 24 hours.
    Great for busy day schedules!
