Fried Scampi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. fresh prawns or shrimp (with shells)
    fat (for deep frying, heated to 360~)
    1/2 c. olive oil
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Wash prawns in cold water.
    Remove tiny legs.
    Peel off shells and devein prawns.
    Rinse in cold water, then pat dry with absorbent paper.
