Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage
    16 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    6 to 8 slices bread (white)
    6 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown sausage; drain. Cover bottom of a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
    Cover with cheese.
    Place slices of bread on top of cheese. (May tear into small pieces.)
    Mix eggs and milk.
    Pour over casserole.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Let set in refrigerator, covered, overnight.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 45 minutes or until top of bread is browned.
    Serves 6 to 8.
