Corned Beef And Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage (2 lb.)
    12 oz. can corned beef
    2 1/2 c. water
    3 medium potatoes, quartered
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    2/3 c. chopped onion
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Trim cabbage; wash, cut in quarters, remove core and cut again.
    Place water and bouillon cubes in Dutch oven.
    Add cabbage, cut up potatoes, onion, salt and pepper.
    Bring to boiling point.
    Reduce heat, cover and cook 25 minutes; stir.
    Lay slices of corned beef on top, cover and cook 5 minutes more.
    Turn off heat.
    Let stand 30 minutes before serving.
    Can be reheated nicely.
    Makes 3 to 4 servings.
