Granola - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. oatmeal
    1/2 c. wheat germ
    1/4 c. honey
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    all or any of the following, making a total of 1/2 c.: chopped nuts, sunflower seeds, grated coconut, chopped dried apples, raisins
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
    Put oatmeal and wheat germ in mixing bowl.
    Stir.
    Add vegetable oil and honey.
    Spread mixture on cookie sheet.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
    Remove from oven and add whatever extra ingredients you choose (except raisins).
    Bake 15 minutes.
    Remove from oven and stir in raisins, if used.
    Let cool, stirring while it cools.
    Store in a container with a tight fitting cover.
    Makes 4 cups.
