Black Midnight Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 1/4 c. flour
    2/3 c. cocoa
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/3 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Grease and flour two 9-inch layer pans or one 13 x 9-inch. Cream shortening, sugar and eggs until fluffy 5 minutes on high speed.
    Sift flour, cocoa, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Mix with water and vanilla.
    Use low speed until thoroughly mixed.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
