Apple Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 7 medium-size baking apples
1 c. hot water
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Peel and slice baking apples.
Layer in the bottom of a square baking dish.
Pour hot water over the apples.
Mix together 1 cup sugar, cinnamon and 3 tablespoons flour.
Sprinkle over apples. Dot with 2 tablespoons butter.
Mix together 1/2 cup sugar, egg, milk, 2 tablespoons melted butter, 1 1/4 cups flour and baking powder.
Pour over apples.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until apples are done and top is browned (30 to 45 minutes).
Serve warm, topped with vanilla ice cream.
