Fried Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large Bermuda onions
    milk
    2/3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    2/3 c. water
    1 egg white, beaten stiff
    fat for frying
Preparation
    Slice onions in 1/2 inch rounds.
    Separate each ring, using the largest ones.
    Soak 1 hour in bowl with enough milk to cover onion rings.
    Mix rest of ingredients; fold in egg whites.
    Dip onion rings in batter and fry.
