Carrot Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 1/2 c. cooked mashed carrots
Preparation
    Cream shortening with sugar.
    Add eggs and carrots; mix well. Add dry ingredients and vanilla.
    Drop by spoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Frost with white frosting.
