7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    2 c. celery
    1 pkg. frozen peas
    1 red onion
    1 green pepper
    1 pt. mayonnaise
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 slice baked ham
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    5 slices bacon
Preparation
    Layer casserole with lettuce and chopped celery.
    Cook peas several minutes in microwave.
    Layer peas, chopped red onion, chopped green pepper and chopped ham. Cover top with mayonnaise and seal the edges.
    Sprinkle with sugar, grated cheese and bacon bits.
    Refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight.
    Bacon can be cooked in microwave.
    If fried, cool, drain and break into pieces. Toss salad before serving.
    Place in a serving dish.
