Ingredients

3 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

In top of double boiler, melt chocolate over hot water. Remove from heat.
Add sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, salt and, if desired, nuts.
Stir until smooth.
Turn into wax paper-lined 8-inch square pan.
Chill; store in an airtight container.
Makes about 1 3/4 pounds.
