Christmas Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 small jar red cherries
    2 pkg. cherry Jell-O
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, crumbled
    2 small Cokes (cold)
Preparation
    Drain fruit.
    Heat juice from fruit and add Jell-O.
    Dissolve thoroughly.
    Chill until syrupy and add rest of ingredients.
    Pour into long Pyrex dish.
    Chill until firm.
