Smoked Sausage And Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head cabbage, shredded
salt and pepper to taste
water
1 pkg. smoked sausage, sliced
red pepper, chopped, to taste (optional)
Preparation

Place cabbage in a large skillet; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Add water to a depth of 1/2 to 1-inch.
Bring to a boil; add sausage.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer until cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally.
Serve with cornbread.
Serves 4 to 6.
