Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    3 apples
    2 c. Cool Whip
    3 Tbsp. salad dressing
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Cook pineapple, sugar and cornstarch until thick.
    Set aside to cool. Dice apples. Mix in pineapple mixture.
    Mix Cool Whip and salad dressing.
    Spread apple mixture in dish (8 x 10-inch) and cover with Cool Whip mixture.
    Sprinkle with grated cheese. Serves 12 people.
