Rocky Road Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Lightly grease an 8-inch square pan. Combine butter and cocoa in a medium-sized, heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in sugar, egg, flour, buttermilk and vanilla.
    Mix until smooth. Spread batter evenly in prepared pan.
    Bake 25 minutes or until center feels dry.
    Remove from oven.
    Sprinkle marshmallows, walnuts and chocolate chips over the top.
    Return to oven for 3 to 5 minutes or just until topping is warm enough to melt together. Let cool; then cut into 2-inch squares.
    Makes 16 servings.
