Baked Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. popped corn
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, melt butter; stir in brown sugar, syrup and salt.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil without further stirring 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat; stir in soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over popped corn in a large bowl, mixing well with a fork.
    Turn into 2 large shallow baking pans.
    Bake for 1 hour in 250\u00b0 oven, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Set pans out of oven; cool completely.
    Break apart.
    Store in airtight containers.
