Hawaiian Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can yams, drained and mashed
    1 tsp. vanilla
    7 oz. pkg. coconut
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1/2 pt. candied cherries
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Mix with mixer the yams, vanilla, coconut, 1 cup sugar, egg, milk and salt and put into greased pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
