Old Fashion Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream butter thoroughly.
    Add sugar little at a time and cream until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Sift three times.
    Add the flour mixture little at a time and mix well.
    Add flavoring and chill.
    Roll dough very thin and cut into desired shapes.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 6 to 10 minutes or until brown.
