Candied Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large sweet potatoes
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 stick margarine
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil potatoes until tender; peel and slice.
    Put in casserole. Boil sugar, margarine and vanilla until thick.
    Pour over potatoes; simmer in oven at 350\u00b0.
