Ingredients

4 c. butter (2 c. butter and 2 c. lard)
2 c. powdered sugar
2 c. granulated sugar
4 eggs
9 c. flour
2 Tbsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
Add dry ingredients; mix well. Form in walnut size balls and roll in granulated sugar.
Flatten with glass.
