7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1/2 chopped onion
    1 green pepper
    celery
    1 box frozen peas
    1 pt. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    1/2 c. bacon bits
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Using a 9 x 13-inch pan, shred lettuce in bite size pieces in bottom of pan.
    Layer onion, green pepper, celery, peas (barely cook and cool first) and add other half of lettuce on top.
    Spread mayonnaise and sprinkle sugar, Parmesan cheese, and bacon bits before serving.
