Peanut Butter Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (large size) cook and serve vanilla pudding
    4 c. milk
    1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
    3/4 c. confectioners sugar
    1 (9-inch) pie pastry, baked
    1 small carton whipped topping
Preparation
    In saucepan cook pudding and milk over medium heat until thick.
    Remove from heat; cool slightly.
    Mix peanut butter and confectioners sugar together in a bowl until small crumbs form. Sprinkle crumb mixture into pie shell.
    Pour pudding over crumbs. Chill until set.
    Spread whipped topping over pie.
