Yeast Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted self-rising flour
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Add milk to which the soda has been dissolved.
    Mix.
    Knead dough lightly.
    Roll and cut out biscuits.
    Put in greased pan.
    Let rise 1 hour. Bake at 425\u00b0.
