Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 lb. lean ground pork
2 eggs
3/4 c. ground Melba toast
1/2 c. oatmeal
1 Tbsp. salt
1 tsp. white pepper
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. sage
4 Tbsp. ground onion
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Brown onion in butter.
Beat eggs with spices.
Add oatmeal and Melba toast and stir.
Add meat; mix well.
Make meatballs and brown in skillet.
Put meatballs into large saucepan and cook in water (slightly over top of meatballs) for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Serve with gravy, noodles or rice.
