Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. ground chuck
    1 large onion
    1 bunch celery
    2 lb. carrots
    2 cans green beans
    beef soup base
    1 large can stewed tomatoes
Preparation
    Wash and clean raw vegetables.
    Put in large kettle covered with water 3/4 full.
    Cook until tender.
    Saute meat and onion until onion is tender.
    Drain off excess fat.
    Add to cooked vegetables.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Add about half jar of beef soup base.
    Simmer 1/2 to 1 hour.
