Orange Cream Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs, separated
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. orange juice
    1 tsp. orange rind, grated
    1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sifted cake flour
Preparation
    Combine egg yolks, 1/2 cup sugar, orange juice, orange rind and lemon extract; beat until mixture is thick and lemon colored.
    Beat whites until frothy.
    Add 1/2 cup sugar; beat until rounded peaks form.
    Spread yolk mixture over egg whites; fold together.
    Fold in cake flour, sifting 1/4 cup at a time.
    Turn into 2 (9-inch) pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cool; invert, then loosen with spatula.
