Biscuit Topped Italian Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
3/4 c. water
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 (10 oz.) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1 Tbsp. margarine, melted
1/2 tsp. each sweet basil, oregano and chopped parsley
garlic to taste
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Grease a 12 x 8-inch (2-quart) baking dish. Brown ground beef and onion in skillet. Drain. Stir in water, tomato sauce and paste as well as all spices.
Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in thawed vegetables and all but 1/2 cup of the cheese.
Spoon into greased baking dish.
