Potato Griddle Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. potatoes
    1 egg
    1 1/4 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of white pepper
Preparation
    Beat egg and a little milk, then add flour and remaining milk alternating while beating.
    Allow to stand 2 hours.
    Grate potatoes and add to batter.
    Beat thoroughly and season.
    Grease griddle or frypan and spread with thin layer of batter.
    Brown both sides. Serve with fried salt side pork and/or lingonberries.
