Christmas Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly butter, confectioners sugar and vanilla.
    Stir in flour and salt, then chopped walnuts.
    Chill dough 1 hour. Roll into 1-inch balls.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes, until set, but not brown.
    While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
    Cool and roll again in confectioners sugar.
    Makes 4 dozen.
