Garden Fresh Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. chopped cabbage
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 cucumber, chopped (unpeeled)
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 tomatoes, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Martha Gooch garden variety rotini
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients.
    Cook the rotini and rinse with cool water to chill.
    Add to vegetables. In a small mixing bowl, combine the last 5 ingredients.
    Pour over rotini vegetable mixture.
    Mix well.
    Cover and chill.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings or 2 quarts.
