Indian Fried Eggplant - cooking recipe

1 medium eggplant (about 1 1/2 lb.)
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. turmeric
2 tsp. curry powder
1 c. milk
1 egg
1/4 c. salad oil
Preparation

In a baking dish, place a layer of sliced raw potatoes, then some chopped onion. Repeat layers. Mix a can of Cheddar cheese soup with a little water and pour over potatoes. Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 50 minutes or until tender.
