Buttercream Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 c. shortening (I prefer Crisco)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
1/4 tsp. salt
8 c. sifted powdered sugar
1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. whipping cream
Preparation

Combine butter and shortening in a large bowl; beat well with electric mixer.
Add flavorings and salt.
Gradually add sugar, 1 cup at a time.
Add whipping cream to creamed mixture, beating until smooth enough to spread.
