Asparagus Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 c. cut asparagus
2 Tbsp. flour
dash of pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
Preparation

In a saucepan, combine chicken broth, onion and asparagus. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 to 30 minutes or until asparagus is tender.
Place mixture in blender.
Cover and blend in flour, salt and pepper.
Add milk all at once.
Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
Stir in vegetable puree.
Cook until heated through.
