Mom'S Italian Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. roast beef, cooked and sliced
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
    1 (24 oz.) tomatoes
    3 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    18 oz. water
    2 onions, chopped and sauteed
    4 green peppers, chopped and sauteed
    sweet basil and oregano to taste
Preparation
    Saute onions and green peppers together. Combine all ingredients and simmer for 2 to 3 hours. Serve on Italian buns.
